Welcome to the Legal Mentoring Program

The Legal Mentoring Program is designed to help accelerate your development and professional growth through networking and partnering with other legal colleagues.   Regardless of your experience or grade level, mentoring is a great way to enhance your professional growth and development at the World Bank Group.
 

ELIGIBILITY

• Anyone who is part of the Legal community in the WBG 
• Participants may join as a mentee, a mentor, or as both.

TIMELINE 
The LEG Mentoring Program is a program that is open all year long and follows the Bank's Fiscal Year.  For the FY24 cycle , please note the expected timelines:
 

Registration Opens	Fall 2024
Self Matching Opens	Fall 2024
Self Matching Closes- Batch Matching Opens	Winter 2024
Program Close	Summer 2025

PARTICIPATION and EXPECTATIONS

• Participants will be expected to actively engage with their mentoring partner.  Generally, participants will meet depending on needs and agreed upon between the mentor and the mentee. 
• Mentees are expected to 'drive' the relationship, to come prepared to meetings and to follow through on agreed actions. 
• Mentors are expected to engage with their mentee as agreed, to listen, and to provide guidance as needed. 
• Both mentors and mentees are expected to complete the basic tasks included in the connection plan in Chronus, including responding to program surveys in a timely fashion.

PROGRAM COORDINATION
