Welcome to the FY26 EAWN Mentoring Program!
Objectives
The East Asian Women’s Network (EAWN) Mentorship Program aims to support the career development of EAWN members by connecting seasoned mentors with mentees to learn how to successfully own and manage their careers in the WBG work environment. Many EAWN members find it challenging to navigate their careers in the WBG due to different cultural norms. The Mentoring Program will provide a safe space to exchange perspectives and support EAWN members with their career goals.
- For mentees: Engagement in the program provides an opportunity to enhance your career development by connecting with and learning from a mentor in the East Asian Women Network. Possible conversation topics range from career enhancement advice to practical guidance on workplace challenges. Mentees will be positioned to gain a broader career perspective, build a deeper understanding of the institution and/ or a subject matter, and expand their professional networks.
- For mentors: Participation in the program is an opportunity to support other female staff of East Asian origin and share your career development and workplace best practices. Mentors help foster the career achievements of East Asian Women at the Bank Group, build a wider network with diverse perspectives, and hone your leadership skills.
Who Can Participate
- Mentees: GA-GG staff and ETCs
